Excellent choice for birding.
My main purpose for binoculars is birding, and my old pair of vortex diamondback binoculars worked very well. I just got a pair of 8x42 viper hds and the difference is huge. I highly recommend these binoculars, the image is incredibly crisp, clear, and true.

4 of 4 found this helpful This is the kind of matrix that just keeps on giving. I've already filled a cereal bowl with my finds! You'll find lots of interesting stuff. Most of my finds consist of shark and stingray teeth, but I've also managed to find a nice mammal tooth and a 3.5 inch section of rib (likely dolphin). I highly recommend this to the budding collector, or even the seasoned enthusiast. Thank you!
