Nice and loud, reasonably priced but for old school DVDs and VCRs, get a converter and HDMI cables now!

One caveat, if you have older equipment like a DVD or VCR you'll need a CONVERTER and HDMI cables. Why? Because the RCA inputs on the Pioneer do nothing. Pioneer said they don't know what kind of television you have so that's why there are RCA inputs on the unit. Ok, but the Pioneer has an HDMI out, so this renders the RCA inputs useless. -you'll get sound but no picture if you use the RCA inputs....so...:
If you like a reasonably priced home receiver and a quick shipment, buy this but also get yourself an RCA to HDMI converter and HDMI cables. -I recommend Belkin cables.
