Visually spectacular, narratively lacking

In terms of visuals and atmosphere, 2001, which was made in the late 60s, mind you, is one of the most spectacular movies I've ever seen. In that regard, it truly deserves its iconic status. That being said, it doesn't have much in the way of narrative, so prepare to be bored and also increasingly confused toward the last quarter of the movie.

Unironically bravo, Eggers.

Finally a highly accurate Northern European historical epic with an all-White cast. How Woke Hollywood let this get made is baffling. Not that I'm complaining.
