Lego Technic Mobile Crane MK II (42009)

Best mobile crane ever made by Lego

Well I'm really impressed by this mobile crane. Just would of been nicer if the boom could of extended a bit longer, cause its length is quite a bit shorter fully extended compared to the rough terrain crane. Also the pivot joints that are used to operate the boom extension can break under stress when the motor clutch kicks in. Ive already had to order a new pivot joint. But I do like its length, durability, playability and love how the stabilizers extend and drop. Very cool. All the other model mobile cranes Lego has made are a complete joke compared this model. None other compares. If you're a technic collector, this a great one to add to your collection.

Awesome set

I wanted a set that reminded me of the sea and this just brings it all out, a creative person could even add a boat dock to it if they wanted to, to further the experience. It has a very nicely detailed interior with fish hooks, scuba gear, fishing spears, fishing poles and bouys and chain. I just love the overall rustic look of the set and enjoyed building it.

Rare collectors item

So this is a cancelled/recalled rare collectors item. Its very hard to obtain as so few got their hands on it before it was taken off store shelves and recalled and didn't even make it to shelves in the United States, so I ordered this from Russia. It was recalled due to looking like a military aircraft. The body design is very smooth like a real aircraft with all its curves made nicely and it has a large motor so its propellers spin quite fast which is impressive and all the other motor functions work great. It makes a very great display piece that will attract all your guests as its gray and orange is pretty and its military design which is just down right impressive. If your willing to pay $600 or more to get this, its worthwhile. A must have for lego technic enthusiasts like myself.
