Voigtlander 25 mm
A fair price for a well-built lens. Unfortunately sharpness is not one of the forte of the lens. Center of image ok but corner get blurry and discolored (fringing).

More an expert / serious amateur camera than a regular point and shoot.
I have used Sony's RX series since its inception.
The first generation did not offer what this one (5 / V) does: electronic viewfinder and articulated screen. Very useful addition (the electronic viewfinder allows the user to see exposure in real time and value, as well as benefit from an electronic level.
Image quality is really excellent (I have printed 16"x24 from my files that compare to images taken with more expensive cameras (not that the RX100 is not expensive but it is worth every cent.

Excellent
Still expensive for a used lens (All ROM R lenses are unfortunately). These lenses have not got the latest coating and are subject to more flare than current lenses (even far cheaper ones).
