This is a lot of saw for the money, I like the way the controls are thought out. This saw will do Dado and some of the more expensive saws won't.
Well thought out saw if you need a portable. It's not near as loud as the one it replaced ..surprise .I'm running Red oak through it right out of the box no problem. I built a wide bench and strapped it down on the folded legs at my chosen height. That way I have the option of making it portable anytime and still have a semi permanent stand with infeed and outfeed hinged boards. I'm able to rip plywood alone.
You don't need to remove the legs to set it up on a permanent table, it levels out on the folded legs!
