Small stove, big flame.

If you know the stove is going to get beat up in your backpack anyway, buy this stove. Stove has 2 modes, on and off. If you are looking to boil water for backpack (bag) meals, this is the fastest and easiest stove I've seen. If you're looking to cook eggs or pancakes, get a butane stove with a regulator. Super light stove, fuel weighs about the same as butane but you may use a little more. I bought a MSR fuel container from REI to go with it. Very happy with purchase.

The older model of the same product work...

The older model of the same product works without issue. This model doesn't seem to like small batteries and turns itself off even when the batteries have a full charge. You'll have to use batteries 5AH or larger. Small size offers great portability. I wouldn't call this a leaf blower, more of a duster/tool and bench cleaner.

I was looking for an older model but this one seems to work well. Time will tell if the base clips hold up to hard use like the older model. Easy to detach for 'flashlight' functionality.
