Excellant product
1 of 1 found this helpful It is one of the better models produced by Garmin for marine use. They are no longer being made and have been replaced by the 78xxx model. Its a matter of personal preference but I prefer the old 76 and 76S model, the new 78 model is less user friendly and has a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles.
The 76 model comes with either land based or marine based map, make sure you find out which it has before you buy as it can have only one or the other. In order to change it you will need additional software and it can't be bought from Garmin, you will have to get it from the seller- if they have it.

Garmin GPSMap 76csx
It is very intuitive, easy to use and has a sharp clear color screen especially in bright daylight. The only bad thing I can think of is that it does not come with a users manual.

It was a quality product when it was first produced years ago and it still is.
