4 nuts for castors
Ordered with a set of castors and all delivered together. Nuts were correct for the job and having 4 meant I could double lock them.

Sony & Zeiss Hit The Mark
6 of 6 found this helpful The High Street is full of digital technology, but our search for the right camera kept drawing blanks. Until we found the DSC-H3 by Sony. This was a camera that was bigger than the average silver (or blue) 'matchbox', but with a smaller price tag than the full blown SLR's.
It fits comfortably in both large and small hands, and with the hood in place looks like a 'real' pro model. Which in many respects it is. The view screen is both large and clear, performing well in all but the brightest of direct sunlight. Sony's menu system once again proves so intuitive that we had no problem navigating through many of the basics without even looking at the guide notes. A nice touch on this model is the revolving menu that appears on screen when you rotate the top mode wheel, giving additional information on the particular setting.
The joystick button selects shots for editing, picks individual pictures from a screen of thumbnails and selects options in conjunction with the HOME and MENU buttons. These three buttons control almost all the settings that you need to access. There are more functions than I have space to go into here, but it is a testimony to good design that it is easier to operate than read about.
But what about picture quality? At 8.1 Megapixels the credentials looked good. However the real reason for picking this camera lay at the front. Sony in their wisdom choose to partner with Zeiss of Germany, and in so doing opened the door of top image capture. All the menu settings in the world cannot compensate for a bad lens, ask the guys on the Hubble Telescope. From the first shots the power of this lens was apparent. With 10x zoom, F3.5 - 4.4, distance shots are drawn to the 7.18mm CCD. Set to Macro and flower petals look soft enough to touch. Turn on the soft focus and close shots become positively 3D. Shaky hands have a friend when the 'anti-wobble' control is turned on, with no perceivable loss of quality.
Shooting in AUTO will deliver all of the goods most of the time, but we soon found ourselves drawn to experimenting with white balance (6 settings), auto range finder (3 settings) and colour mode (5 settings). Adjusting any setting gives an instant response on screen, helping determine the right one to use. Regarding colour, Sony are known for producing quite saturated reds and this model is no different. Careful use of the settings however will reduce the worst effects.
We have only just begun to explore the ISO settings, but with a range from 100 - 3200 there would appear to be a world of photographs waiting that we have not previously had access to. Movies? With a built in microphone and our 4Gb Memory Stick Duo installed it will record 2.5 hrs of video. Pan shots are good at moderate speed and the sound is very acceptable for a small camera. Can't wait to get it to Silverstone to give it a real test. Now if I can just persuade Murray.......
And finally problems. Well.... er..... OK. Apart from the afore mentioned saturation just one really. You have to watch out for the mode wheel on top. It is easily caught and moved and needs regular checking, its a bit soft. The trigger is nicely weighted though, with a halfway focussing position that is easy to hold before taking the shot.
This is a camera well worth seeking out and trying, you wont be disappointed.

Classic heating technology that works
Purchased as a replacement for an identical unit that had failed after nearly 25 years. Very easy to wall mount in the office toilet where it is used for background heating. The control is simple and the metalwork construction more solid than the usual cheap stuff that is everywhere today. Should last another 25 years. Would use in a greenhouse or garage if I needed one
