1 of 1 found this helpful This is Albert King's best album. Best songs, best performances, best value at any price. This is guitar-based blues and really is excellent. If you like Luther Allison, Freddie King, or Albert's Born Under a Bad Sign album you'll love this.

A Rediscovered Gem
Unfortunately, it took 40 years for this album to get the recognition it deserves. Luckily a whole new generation is discovering it. Rush, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, and a few others came out with some pretty classic albums the same year Dennis Wilson released Pacific Ocean Blue. Tough competition to be sure. But this album has aged well, and likely rates better now, respectively, than it did in 1977.

Love It!!
The songs, the performances, the art, the extras......ALL OF IT IS FANTASTIC!! These are early classic rock songs reimagined as only Misfits can. Familiar and new at the same time.
