Not what it used to be

Over the last 7 years or so
Shurflo has done quality cutting by using aluminum wire and DC bodies. The DC bodies do not pair well with 120 volt systems causing the negative brush to wear out twice as fast as the positive brush. Life span is more than 50% less than with the older motor case. However, you get what you pay for and depending on the amount of use it might still be a good application for some.
