Tamiya cement works well.
This cement works well on styrene plastic. It wicks well into seams.

Good looking, if simplified
This is a very simple kit, with simplified detail. It does appear to be fairly accurate in exterior shape. Give it to your kid to introduce them to model building. Or scratchbuild a cockpit and other details and you’ll have a nice representation of this cool airplane. Maybe some decal manufacturer will come up with decals for the Ring Free Meteor and Pesco Special,
