As functional as it needs to be - it just worked.
1 of 2 found this helpful It's difficult to find the SIM cards you need, when you need them (usually in a hurry). After a frenzied search, I finally found these SIM cards, which worked perfectly with my Verizon smartphone and, after a bit of trial and error, activated normally and were associated with a pre-paid plan. I don't know what else I can say about something you can "just" drop in and run with other than the fact that I had no hardware trouble with them at all.

A faithful interpretation of the movie.
Most RPG versions of movies are lackluster, to say the least - they lose the feel of the original material and lack the substance of the source material. Strangely, this adventure module is not one of them. The movie's scenario is faithfully reinterpreted as something that a small group of gamers can run through in an evening or two (it feels like a convention game in many ways) without having to go through character generation (the movie's characters are written up) and there is enough flexibility built in that one could play through the "movie" with a different combination of characters and different sorts of events and challenges and consequences (the reactivation of the HAL-9000 is still there, of course). The poster-sized maps of both the Discovery and Leonov are well drawn, clearly labelled, and perfect for the sci-fi memorabelia collector or use by the serious gamer to run the adventure.
I'm quite glad that I purchased this game module and plan on running it soon.
