2 of 3 found this helpful it dont say ripping chain any were on the package the chain comes in and the teeth on the chain are at a 45 degree not a 10 degree like a ripping chain i would say the chain is not described the right way the chain looks and cuts like a crosscutting chain so i give this a 3 but the price of the chain is great for either ripping chain or crosscutting chain
