The book deals with how tragic loss can negatively impact the intire family and how they try to cope.

I had watched the movie...which doesn't really follow the book so much as some books, but it does answer some background questions you may have in watching the movie. I wish Mr. Hedges would write a sequel to this book. Anyway the book helps you to understand family better if you have watched the movie...5 stars on the movie if case anyone wants to know.

Cons of this model

I think it works well, but in this house, I have so much moisture; the water must be drained and the bottom drain is too low...using pizza pan which won't hold all the water. I needed to get rid of moisture, so that is a plus... I have rigged a drain to a bucket from the upper drain to take care of that issue. Specs on these units claim you should rarely have to drain...This didn't run an hour before It cut off. Fan runs all the time, even when not cooling. Old house without many outlets or I would have been better served with window unit.
