Review of Tiffen 58MM UV Lens Protector Filter for Canon
This filter is an optional item. It is my personal decision to use this filter on each of my Canon lenses in order to:
1. Protect the glass on my expensive lenses from dirt and contact scratches,
2. Block UV rays in order to get more pleasing photos.
Remember, it is a filter! As such it is optional! Like any other filter, if you don't know what it does, you can get by without it -- or, you can educate yourself and then decide if you wish to purchase this item or not.
