Large dog necessity

I have a VERY large dog. He's a rescue, so ancestry is unknown. But he looks like an oversized cream colored Labrador with maybe some great dane mix simply because of his overall size (120 lbs) and height. He's handsome and loveable, coexists well with other canines and my elderly, cantankerous cat who thinks Wally is the berries. When I first introduced Big Wally to this feeder, he hesitated at first, but hunger won out. No problem after first feeding. He loves it now (human interpretation). Really, it is a common sense approach to feeding a large dog given their leg length, neck length and propensity to back problems related to their size. Do your big dog a favor. That said, this unit is a bit lightweight, I compensate for that by placing it in front of the dryer for back force. Wally doesn't really move it around when he eats. BUT a really hungry or overly powerful dog could easily push it all over the room. It wouldn't be rocket science to configure weighting the base down if necessary. This product works very well in my household. I recommend.

This is exactly what I needed. I can utilize it with the hitch on the back of my Isuzu Trooper or mount it on the roof racks on my Toyota Corolla. Good quality, easy to assemble, possible for a 125 lb woman to put in place for either use. Great value for the $. Highly recommend.
