Droid Feet For Navigator Pool Sweep
2 of 2 found this helpful These little gems are a must for proper operation of the Navigator vacuum as they help in the movement of the unit on the floor and walls of the pool during the cleaning operation. If you have a concrete pool, these work perfect. If you have a vinyl liner pool, then you need the pads that are made out of a cork-like(?) material and I can only guess it is for a better grip and traction on a vinyl surface. Get the correct ones. Although they are more than likely interchangeable, cork on concrete will wear faster and the hard nylon feet on vinyl will probably have no traction.
Have used the Navigator since 1995 and it works great.

IRWIN 5464 Quick-Grip Mini Bar Clamp 6"
For the money, these clamps do the job. Quick acting and with sufficient grip, these little items come in handy when one handed operation is necessary to hold something. Not sure of the psi clamping force but for projects around the house, these can't be beat. I would not try to clamp hull timbers from the USS Constitution using these but have never failed to perform when I use them. Simple design, few moving parts and a good grip all in one lightweight tool.

Dewalt DC970 18 volt Cordless Drill. Works great!
Originally was bidding on two battery packs for my old Dewalt 18 volt drill when I spied this in the remaining hour of another auction. Tossed out a bid and I won. I have the same drill but rather beat up so this was a nice find. I was pleased with the other drill and this one is built just right for me and I like the balance in the hand when using it. Keyless chuck is nice also. Variable speed with reversing feature.
