Seals failed
The seals are not as thick as the originals and would not stay embedded in the groove and eventually they dislodged and were chewed up by the blade. This also caused liquid to leak into the unit. :( Not the quality of the original product. Sucked it up and ordered an original unit from Magic Bullet.

Pleased, solid brass and not plated. I like it.
Solid brass and nice. I am not sure if the two threaded 1/4-20 rods were stainless (they look like bright plated), I could be wrong, but I didn't chance it and replaced them with good stainless steel threaded rod to be sure no rust forms and runs down my door.

Questions are irrelevant! Compact? Easy to operate? Easy to clean?It is a reverse osmosis filter already. Passive device. Nothing complicated.
