Nice to match up with your filter.
Its not as bad as some people have made it out to be. Not the loudest but good enough. Price pretty exorbitant for what it is. Having installed the Monster Filter also from Arlen Ness made this sort of necessary to match up. If you can get it at a good price and want to match your filter then go for it as I have.

Cool look.
Comes in a manufacturers carton individually wrapped ie not a retail looking box. After installation it looks great even if it does seem pretty big...well it is called a 'Monster' filter after all and breaths in from the front too unlike some other filters. Installation pretty much a breeze, however - Word of warning: The air breather bolts that go into the heads will barely drive in and being the heads one is very reluctant to force them in as the last thing you want to do is to strip the threads of the heads. These bolts have chrome on the thread which is the problem. I tried using a Chinese die but it wont cut. Went to a die and toolmaker who said no surprise as only a quality German die will cut. His went through like butter. With bolts trimmed down it went in the heads no problem. I did clean up the thread a bit too. Squeezing on the filter with cover onto the barrel was a bit of a challenge too (try some soapy water). Make sure filters band bolt facing you angled about 10 o'clock facing forward to be able to tighten. Bit overpriced for what it is but a nice transformation to a cool look on my Harley '09 Night Train.
