nice mic for a beginner
I set this up on my PC.
The C-1U was detected and installed by Win 7 automatically with no problem.
Some people who bought this item said there was a problem with the dB level being too low but I corrected this problem with an adjustment to the Windows volume level app.
1. Right click on the speakers symbol on the Windows 7 task bar
2. Select "Recording devices" from pop up menu
3. From the "Recording" device tab select the Microphone C-1U
4. Select the "Properties" button at the bottom of the device list window
5. In the "Microphone Properties" window select the "Levels" tab
6. Click on the "Microphone" slider and adjust the volume level to 100
