Grommets are a ' must have '.
Anyone who uses these kind of items will know that nothing else will do. I put an antenna wire through a 5" wall and on each side of the wall is one of these grommets. Could have stuffed paper in the hole beside the wire or used putty. Grommets are better than any of these and can be easily removed if needed - neater, too. I'm glad to have them.

Great adhesive...
I prefer this specific item because it works like no others. Found it a great price here - about half of the downtown stores price. Loctite makes lots of adhesives and they have different applications - this outdoor adhesive is always in my shop.
My only small negative is, I wish Loctite could come up with a better container. After a few uses, it's hard to get the cap off of tube. I sometimes have to get the pliers and hope the tin tube doesn't break. So far, so good.
