Mattel glue head doll
I didn’t know, but this doll came from a Mattel manufacturing period known as the glue heads. Though never opened her hair was sticky and greasy. No reflection on the seller, it is a manufacturing error and Mattel is solely responsible. I had to put talcum powder in her hair and let it soak up the glue, then wash her scalp with tons of windex and a soft toothbrush. Finished with Dawn dish soap wash. Her hair is much better but prone to static flyaway.

Age related issues
This is a great doll with extra clothes! My only complaint is that Mattel used materials that don’t stand the test of time. Having never been opened, all elastic bands have decomposed to be a sticky gummy mess! Also his boots feel sticky.
