The part works. But I'd hardly call it "extra power". I have three 870s, a brand new super mag, a 1968 wingmaster and a 1990s police magnum. The 90s and the 60s have a really firm and snappy mag tube spring but the factory mag tube spring on the super mag is a bit lacking. I got this to bump up that firm feeling and the "extra power" springs are dramatically weaker than the 60s and 90s still. And I don't notice any change in pressure either. It's like I bought a stock spring.
