Excellent for those with way too many USB devices
I have way too many USB devices. It's a pain to unplug/plug things when you need to change.
So I got this ten-port hub, and tamed my USB jungle!
You might not think you need so many ports, but I have a variety of devices that charge via USB, and they all have different connectors. So I just leave the proper cables connected: USB-C for my camera, mini-USB for my tablet, micro-USB for a phone, etc.
I dropped a star for just one reason: it slides around from the tugging of all the cords, and it is hard to keep it in one place.
I wish they had put a couple keyhole slots on the back, so you could easily mount it on something. I tried double-sticky tape, but that didn't last very long. I finally took it apart, put a couple holes in the side, and screwed it right to the lifting handle of my Mac Pro — PROBLEM SOLVED! But if they had put keyhole slots in the back, I would have more easily attached it to the wall or my desk.
If you can secure it to something, it is very highly recommended! Otherwise, you'll drag an octopus to the floor whenever something pulls on a cable.
