Good quality
The cable is good quality. It has a little arrow molded into the plastic (to indicate UP) at the point where the cable plugs into the Genesis 2/Genesis 3. The Genesis 2/3 connector design uses little pins (mini-DIN, like a old PC keyboard) so it's probably not too hard to end up bending them.

Great system, bad controllers
This is a fun system, and can be a great value. It has dozens of games built-in, and can use original Sega Genesis cartridges and controllers. It's main drawback is the wireless controllers that come with some models. These controllers use infrared light, like a TV remote control, unlike modern wireless controllers. Even with fresh batteries, if these controllers aren't pointed EXACTLY at the console at all times, they don't work. They also have mushy-feeling buttons. Fortunately, this console has sockets for wired Genesis controllers. I highly recommend the Hyperkin GN6 controllers. The wireless controllers have a menu button, unlike wired Genesis controllers. There is a menu button on the console itself though. It's really just the reset button...it takes you back to the main menu to select games. Ten games appear on the menu, you page through by pressing left/right to access other games. The games built-in vary depending on the exact model and when it was made. Some lack Sonic and/or Mortal Kombat games, so look carefully at the game list. It has 20-40 games that were originally on the Genesis, 40 that weren't. Those are generic-type games. The unit itself is tiny and light. It has different circuitry than an original Genesis, it uses emulation. This causes a few drawbacks...you can't save games, and sound in some games is slightly different from original. It uses standard yellow/white (composite) video/audio connectors, no need for a special cable. If your TV doesn't have a yellow video input, the green one will usually work for this. You can buy a splitter for a few dollars that will split the white audio cable into 2 connectors (white/red) so sound will come from both TV speakers. The power supply has a nice size and shape, it won't block other outlets. It has a red light on it, so you know the outlet is getting power.

Great quality
Thin, strong magnets, holds the iPad Air/Air 2 in a variety of positions. This fits the iPad Air & Air 2, unlike the Smart Case.
