Simple solution to avoid pedal rash on wood bass drum rims
Never saw this item before, but I'm glad to have found it. It fit on both my Pearl (18") and Ludwig (20') drum rims perfectly. I didn't use the very small screw that is included as that would defeat the purpose of not damaging the wood rim of your bass drum. I just used two small pieces of gaffers tape to secure it to rim although it most likely would stay secure regardless unless you move your drums around without cases and/or very often. Much cleaner look than those rubber pads with sticky residue on one side. Definitely recommend.

Pearl C-150S flush base/convertible cymbal stand
Solid little stand, nice large rubber feet, unilock tilter is versatile. 4lbs 13oz. I bought this to replace my DW flat based stand (5lbs 8 oz) as sometimes I need to use traditional tripod option on smaller stages etc. My only suggestion is that Pearl should make the larger of the two cymbal felts/rubber washers a tad thinner as there is very little room on post before potential metal to metal contact. Also the washer to secure cymbal is cheap threaded plastic. I switched it out for a metal one and some traditional felts I had lying around. Easy fix.

Roc N Soc Rocks!
Best throne ever. It’s heavy for sure, but that’s what’s makes it solid & durable. I have the hydraulic version as well and love that too, especially the floating/firm bounce feeling.
Wanted this non hydraulic version for easy breakdown & transport. Solid threaded post that has memory/height lock & large knurled nut & wing bolt. Easy to set so you can spin seat top if you prefer motion or lock into place. No wobble. Roc N Soc thrones are a bit pricey but I’ve had my hydraulic version with back rest for well over a decade. No issues. Last throne you’ll ever need. A+!
