A young boy going through the pains of puberty interats with a young woman wracked with sorrow.
1 of 1 found this helpful Am confused...this is a dvd, not a sauce. Other than that enigma, this film is just as engaging and poignant as it was many years ago when it was first released, And yes, it reminds us of youth, the youth we perhaps did not use all that effectively, nor to it fullest. Oscar Wilde stated it most eloquently when he said, "It is a pity that Youth is wasted on the young." This is a piece of art which presents with great force the sorrow and tragedy that endless wars visit upon the innocent. It leaves the mourners desperately seeking an answer, seeking solace, warmth, surgery for a badly damaged heart and soul. So it is that a confused young man and a distraught and grieving widow seek mutual comfort in their unorthodox relationship, to the healing and maturing benefit of both of them. If anyone viewing this film from start to finish without shedding a tear, then he/she is made of much sturdier stuff than what I am made of..

They Do Not Work...But
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought these intending to use them in the fog light housings of my 2007 Toyota Tacoma truck. Alas, when I looked at the LED bulbs, the diameter of their base was too large for the light assemblies to accommodate. Thomas Edison's response to the question, "How do you feel about failing 10,000 times to find the right substance for your light bulb?" was "Oh, I haven't failed 10,000; I've discovered 10,000 things that I an't use for the filament in my bulb, so I've greatly narrowed down the field." So, there it is, Mozart. They're great bulbs, but I cannot use them in this application, but I'm very creative and have used hundreds of items and products for unbelievably ways for which they were never intended!
Be well,

Well-crafted piece of cinema.
This is, no doubt, a great rendition and re-telling of Robin of Locksley, IF there's any way you can ignore Kevin Costner's very NON-British diction and elocution. How o how could the creators of this film overlook such an incredibly gauche element? Really! Other than that incredible error, the remaining cast of actresses/actors. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, of course, speaks for herself and stands by herself, as always.
The action, cinematography, sets, costumes...all of these and more, were first rate. Truly a job well-done.
