Chevy 1500 crew cab

Chevy 1500 with MB Quart 6&1/2" components and JL Audio 10" sub. 1st and foremost the advertised watt rating is false, the true power stated even in the owner's manual is 65x4 + 150x1 which is perfect for the MB Quarts, but I'll need to upgrade my sub to 2ohm to get back the sub bass that I lost due to under rated power. Now that aside the sound quality is truly amazing with this amp. The amp came preset with the gain at full on all channels and it still had no distortion even at 7/8 volume. I tuned the EQ, the amp gains, and cross over frequencies for the mids and highs, and put the bass boost at max on my head unit and amp. Sounds like a concert inside, I'm just a fan of a little more kick in the sub range than what I'm getting. Truly distortion and noise free! This is a great choice for the money thank you PPI for making this great product.

Truly needs an amp

Great sounding speakers chose these over JBL only due to MB Quarts could handle more power. Installed these with my aftermarket radio pushing 20 watts per channel, they sound great and even better at almost full volume. I plan on hooking to my 4 channel amp 50 watts per channel, then these should really rock my 11 chevy 1500. Btw: make your life easier for chevy trucks get the door speaker adapters for best fit option for the woofer.
