jack of all trades, master of none....................
3 of 3 found this helpful I wish the arm was a little stiffer and there was a way to keep the blade straighter when doing straight cuts like the guy in the video does. The blade tends to walk off to the right a little.
It's great for cutting thin materials. when you get into an inch or thicker, i'd recommend a standard table saw with circular saw blade for straight cuts. This was the first table saw i personally ever bought, so i was trying to make it do everything hehe. But as versatile as it is, it simply can't. And don't expect those plastic guides to be 100%, back yourself up with a ruler or measuring tape.
Cutting circles and curves, i loved it. I needed to cut into a piece of wood and make a tight arc to fit around a pipe and it did it really well.

It's a plastic guide....does what it needs to do.
It's made of plastic and not a very strong one either. but it does what it needs to do in keeping your work piece straight as you feed it through the blade.

If i was to buy all over again...................
These are a great value for the price. they're not the best out but, they're probably not the worst. i used them to build a frame for a grow box for gardening and they did what they needed to do very well. If i could go back and buy all over, i'd have bought a sturdier clamp because i don't see these lasting a lifetime. They're just too thin. But for my first go around using something like this, they did exactly what i needed them to do.
