Great volume. Full of information. Be aware that the full dictionary has three volumes.
This is the third volume of this dictionary and on this is the traduction from English to five different languages. This was the feature that made me bough it.

On Mamiya 55mm f2.8 MF lens
I like the sharpness, quality construction and the possibility of a wide angle lens on a medium format camera that offer practically no distortion. This lens was bought as part of a renovation of the Studio equipment a I doing now. It is good to let clear that it was not an auto focus (AF) lens; but a manual focus (MF) one. I decide to buy it now, because my old system was crying for a renewal before people at weddings start to say: Oh!! The dinosaurus men is here !! An advise to the ones starting in this business: Digital is the wave of the moment, but a professional will need a good medium or large format system to be competitive in the commercial photography world. Take advantage of the very low prices you can find on EBAY for quality equipment and remember: learn your trade... TTL, OTF, DR, etc., are very good for you after you know what you can do without them. Of course, if you are one of the few touched by the hand of the Gods of Photography, just buy a simple 57 MP back for your camera (about $ 42,000.00) and forget all my advises. Thanks.

A very capable optic at a very nice price...
This is not one of the MONSTER lens with the advantage that is not married to a MONSTER price. About six months ago I was looking for a Tele that let me take some wildlife pictures, when I decide to make some research... and VOILA!!! one of the first lenses that shows up as sharp and with a very nice color reproduction was Nikkor AF 300mm F4D lens. This is a lens that is sold in two or three different AF configurations while keeping the same optic desing. Of curse... if it is not broken do not repair it!!! And Nikon has made a good work at keeping in their optical line up lenses that, like this one, can be used for the advanced amateur or the professional without the penalty in size and weight that the BIG GUNS impose on them... Lets make clear that this lens is not a sustitute for for the quality and versatility that a Nikkor 300mm F:2.8 will bring to the table; but, an alternative when the photographer needs travel light and still get images that are competitive in any market.
