This mic is not an improvement over on board mic's
I was looking for improved sensitivity above the built in mic of a olympus vn-7000. This mic has less than on board mic.

1 of 1 found this helpful I was unsure about this purchase until item arrived and was installed. I in no way expected this stock to be comfortable or to use it to shoot trap/skeet. It was purchase to convert a used scuffed up mossberg 500 into a more compact truck/trunk emergency tool, for that purpose this stock is sturdy and serviceable enough.

These are no longer in stock at Menards, Lowes, ect in my area
works fine, no longer available at Lowes, or Menards.
