He sent me a non-brushless Ryobi model P546BTL; a lower cost/value model chainsaw than he advertised. I promptly returned the chain saw. Excellent Workhorse Label Printer
3 of 3 found this helpful Dymo LW 450 Twin Turbo Printer ~ I had 2 450 Turbos and adding a 3rd type of label, I decided to replace one of the singles with this Twin printer. First, the Dymo software is junk, occasionally freezes, I suspect because it is an old 32 bit software and I'm using 64 bit Win10 as well as a Chromebook which I've read is also not supported by the program, but I have not tested it on my Chromebook. The Twin also prints slower than the singles as well.
That said, I'm satisfied with the Twin Turbo, just unsatisfied with the outdated software. At this time, speed is not an issue for me as I don't print large numbers of labels currently. I've bought all these Dymo printers used and no issues. I used to use the Zebra LP2844's but after all 3 of mine going South, I decided to switch to Dymo's. I do miss the 4x6 label printing of the Zebras when I need to use UPS, Fedex or USPS International w/Customs forms. But I only ship about 5-10% using 4x6 and I go back to printing on my Laser/Inkjet and cut and tape...
I do wish there was another label format for USPS mailing that was shorter than the 2x7 labels as I ship a lot of items in 6x4x4 boxes soI have to cut the label in half, but it is not that big of a deal.
If I was to buy new, I'd probably buy a different, more expensive, more current printer, but for pre-owned, these can be a smart purchase.
