Worth the wait!
3 of 3 found this helpful I was aprehsinive about purchasing this set but have to say I'm glad I did. Despite a few issues, I'm overall pleased. First point is that shipping took longer than I'm used to. It's coming from China so it took about 2 weeks. Not a big deal at all but be aware. Also, the quality of some of the films are grainy. Not enough to have any real negative impact on the experience but don't expect crisp, blu-ray quality or anything like that, especially for the older films. You get 6 discs, 17 films in all. No bonus features and the simple playthrough gives you a title screen with audio and subtitle options. Although I checked the quality on all, I haven't watched through every single one but I did notice that Totoro had different voice actors and variations to the transcripts from the original. This didn't diminish the experience but it was noticeable to me, not really the kids. And on that note, being able to share these Studio Ghibli films and the beautiful world of Miyazaki with my kids is absolutely priceless. You can't find many of these films online in the US and for the ones you can, you can't get them all at this price! So if you're ok with a bit of a lower quality, longer shipping, and slight voice variations, you should take a chance on this. Sure glad I did!

Great stand a year later!
Didn't want to fork out another $200+ for a stand at the store so I got this instead. The base looks bigger than what I would have bought in the store but that doesn't bother me. I was also nervous that it wouldn't fit right or be unstable since my chair is so round but it fit perfectly as you can see! No problems turning it the full 360° either. We've had the stand for a year as of Sep 2019 and it is still in great condition with daily use! No tipping, no bending, no issues at all. We regularly have 150-200 lbs of weight on it between us all. The mailman did have to help me carry it inside since it was so heavy, but I was able to put it together all on my own without instructions. Very pleased with this purchase so I figured I'd share an update. Would definitely recommend.
