Good quality light duty winch with one minor problem.
I found this to be a good quality small winch, just as I had hoped. I am using it as a load winch on my tractor utility cart with good results. I did find one issue with using the winch. The load strap that is delivered with the winch is good quality, but it is too long. When fully wound, it pulls off the top of the winch spool. If you are not very careful, the strap will then fall into the winch gear and is subject to severe damage. For my purposes, I didn't need a strap that long, so I shortened it by about 8 feet. At that length, it works well and stays within the winch spool sides. When shortening the strap, I did find that the strap attach bolt had bent quite a lot even though the winch had never been anywhere near the specified maximum load. I hope that the bolt is strong enough, but will have to monitor it for failure over time.

Light weight and easy to assemble but not very strong.
The pole is lightweight and easy to assemble, but it is not very strong. In my application, the pole that I was replacing is flexed into a slight arc to support a rounded part of the top. I was able to make this pole fit without any problem, but within two days, the fiberglass pole had broken off where it entered the center ferrule. I cut off the broken part which reduced the overall length by about one inch and re-installed the pole. Once again, the fiberglass broke off at the ferrule. I'm going to have to find a different product. This product is probably fine if used in an application where it is straight when installed, but if it is flexed at all when in use, it is not strong enough.

Good rings but the mounting system needs to be better
The rings are a good value and seem sturdy. The straps provided seem sturdy too and are plenty long, but the adjustment buckles are inadequate for maintain the length adjustment. (Yes, I had the buckles laced correctly.) Even with only my 9 year old grandson on the rings, the buckles slip. To maintain the adjustment, it is necessary to knot the strap. That may compromise the future adjustability of the straps.
