Solid, no batteries needed
Heavy duty. We have been using electronic combo pads but none have worked for more than a year. This is mechanical. We are expecting a decade of enjoyment from it.

Very thin but worked for my purposes.
These are very thin. If that is what you want, these are an ok value.

Does not read codes properly
May 2021. A quick note to folks. Fixd does not read basic error codes. My car is hesitating and a Check Engine Light that comes on. Fixd tells me "No Problems Detected". When I click through the Manual Diagnostics I get, "take it to the dealer or ... mechanic and have the codes retrieved". And constant ads. It costs $70 a year to use most of the functions.
