Sprenger quick release prong collar
I’m a dog trainer & pet care provider in the business for 31 years. This is the collar I recommend for many reasons: it’s a good training tool; a prong collar is the best way to prevent tracheal collapse that results over time from rubbing in the tracheal area; though a prong collar looks barbaric a good one like the Sprenger brand only goes up to what their mom’s moderate bite felt like when they were very young puppies when they pull with it on so that it’s actually reassuring when a dog is timid or scared; the quick release feature is safer in case it gets caught on anything.
