If you are as old as I am, you remember wearing babushkas.
I love books by Patricia Polacco. She is an amazing author. My granddaughter and I discussed her book and Ms. Polacco actually became a mentor for a story that my granddaughter was writing. In addition, her artwork is awesome. We also like how she creates stories from legends, tales, etc.
