Basic ear defender but useful for certain purposes.

I bought these to diminish the noise of our neighbours television through the wall of our semi detached house. Though the TV is usually not LOUD enough to hear the programme, the constant background noise all day is driving me mad, when I try to read in peace and quiet. The defenders seem to work OK, but I find them very tight around my head so can only bear them for an hour at the most. Of course they are inexpensive and simply made, so are useful for this purpose. They do seem to cut down background noise to a certain extent. Value for money, but for serious noise problems I would suggest more professional makes.

Useful and handy

Does what it says on the tin! I have to take regular temperatures for medical reasons and it gives a reading after 1 min at the longest. I am quite happy with it.

Telephone Auto Index A to Z Pop up Lilac

Useful for a small space and quite neat.

For its price, this was quite a useful little index for a small desk and occasional use. However after a few months of daily use, the pages, which are quite small and fit quite closely into the lid fixture, became distorted and some tore. This made it difficult to push the slider up and down, and in the end it was binned! It is also lightweight, and needs two hands to use it. If you are using one frequently, then a more robust item would be more sensible.
