Good, clean action adventure reminiscent of old cliffhangers
1 of 1 found this helpful After watching Captain America - The First Avenger in the theater, this movie immediately came to mind... and no wonder, both were directed by Joe Johnston and both were set in approximately the same time period (WWII). The Rocketeer is kid-friendly, popcorn fun entertainment. While it has some violence, it is from Disney so the fight and gunfire scenes are not all blood and guts, and there is that underlying sense of good versus evil... heck, even the mobsters have values! It is a good, clean action adventure reminiscent of the old cliffhangers. If you liked the look and feel of this film, also check out the cartoon film "The Iron Giant" (1999) as well as "Dick Tracy" (1990) starring Warren Beatty. One note, The Rocketeer will be coming out on blu-ray in December of 2011!

Just what I was looking for!
These extension cables for my Dreamcast controllers were exactly what I needed so I don’t have to park the console in the middle of the room to sit on the couch and play. Good price, shipped quick!

This was my favorite Sega Genesis football game of all time so it’s great to get to play it again!
