worked like a charm. had to renew my registration and Texas no longer allows the red tape over cracked light lenses.

Great fan! Got it for SHOP WORK, but I keep finding advantages to batteries like CAMPING.
2 of 2 found this helpful I already have a deWalt battery arsenal and needed something for my large workshop. I was tired of moving shop fans around to various workstations. Now, I just pop a battery in and take it with me. It does have an AC insert, so you don't have to use batteries when you're stationary near an outlet. My wife gave me crap for getting this fan when I could've gotten a 24" or 36" for the same price or less... Then we went camping in Texas. Also, we have land, so I can take it out to the field if I need to work on a water line or something with no fear of shock. In a more suburban setting, you could still find all kinds of uses on the back patio or working on a car in the driveway. They even let me bring it into a Rangers' game for personal cooling! The rest of my row was pretty glad for it, too. If you already have the deWalt batteries, just getcha one. The only things that could bring down my rating would be getting noisy or breaking down.
