Especially well-suited for protein determinations
What I especially like about these very attractively priced urinalysis test strips is the protein panel. It includes specific color changes for "normal", "15 mg/dl", "30 mg/dl" and "100 mg/dl" before transitioning to "300 mg/dl" and beyond. The approximately 21-month expiration date from the day on which these strips were received is also more than reasonable.
Many - if not most - other comparable products available here on Ebay include a urine test with a color change that jumps from "normal" to "trace" to "300 mg/dl". Now this is not particularly useful if you may have an issue with excessive protein in your urine (proteinuria) since the normal value for a a random sample of urine is usually considered to be no more than 20 to 30 mg/dl. Annual monitoring is recommended for those who fall in the gray zone between 30 to 300 mg/dl.
Thus, be sure to check the product photos and the information on the strips you are interested in before purchasing and ask the manufacturer beforehand if this issue is important to you and insufficient information is provided.
Note that when checking your urine for protein and you obtain what may be a pathological value be sure to retest at a later date and time since isolated elevated urine protein values are not necessarily abnormal. You also might just be having a test-related issue; random outliers can occur with any test. Retesting is always a good idea whenever pathological values - not just protein - are determined.
P.S. While the expiration date of this still sealed/unopened package is nearly 2 years, these Mission urine test strips and those available from other manufacturers are generally recommended to be used within 3 months after opening the container. Some say within 6 months of doing so. Just consult the package insert to confirm.
I have personally checked supposedly old and no longer good Mission strips that I still had available 10 months after first removing the foil seal on the container and there was "absolutely no difference" in the test results obtained when compared with brand new strips just obtained from the manufacturer.

Superthrive makes your plants happy
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been using Superthrive vitamin and hormone supplement for plants on a regular basis for many years now and have always been extremely pleased with the healthy, lush greenery and the large, beautiful flowers (if applicable) which its consistent application inevitably yields.
During the spring of 2017, I administered Superthrive at 2-week intervals to three new bushes that I had just planted. All of these plants doubled to tripled in size, looked exceedingly healthy and continued to develop a beautiful bounty of colorful flowers at intervals throughout last year. Spring 2018 will most likely be an instant replay of this colorful event. This is no small feat here in the Desert Southwest where our Summer temperatures frequently exceed 100 F over the long-term!
Additionally, a very tall 24-year-old Mondell pine tree in my front yard, which had been showing signs of blight (brown needles, etc.) since January 2018, has now stabilized and appears to be on the mend after weekly Superthrive applications.
Outside I usually apply this tonic to each plant at a volume of approximately 1-3 gallons using the indicated dose of ¼ tsp Superthrive per gallon; this works amazingly well for me. I also regularly use Superthrive inside my home on houseplants whenever I water them; it truly makes them look much more perky and last significantly longer. The same ¼ tsp formula can be used for inside plant irrigation.
A handy measuring aid: If you fill the white cap on the smaller 4-ounce bottle to level, you will have enough Superthrive to add to about 4 gallons of water. I use this amount all the time for dilution into the 4.25 gallon galvanized steel buckets that I regularly use around my house.
This larger 16-ounce (1 pint) bottle gives you a much better price per ounce than the more commonly available 4-ounce bottle (over $2.00 in savings versus the 4-ounce size - it's like buying 4 small bottles and getting 1 free!) and is well worth purchasing as long as you have many plants and will be able to use it all within the stated recommended time period of maximum potency which is about 2 years after purchase.
Superthrive is also a good complement to other plant foods/fertilizers which I also regularly use around my house such as Miracle Grow (blue-green crystals) applied with a hose and the corresponding Miracle Grow applicator, as well as the highly recommended Bayer Advanced Tree & Shrub Protect & Feed.
Overall, Superthrive is a truly amazing product – an indispensable item for gardeners both old and young alike – which can help even the truly horticulturally impaired develop a proverbial green thumb. I cannot recommend it more highly!

Effectively mitigates forefoot discomfort
While metatarsal gel pads with a single toe loop attachment point (such as those by Dr. Frederick’s, BKPTM and others) may be a 4-star solution for lessening ball-of-foot discomfort/pain such as Morton’s neuroma or metatarsalgia and the like, the 5-star solution is definitely this product: "PediFix Visco-GEL Ball-of-Foot Protection Metatarsal Sleeve, 1 Pack".
The company PediFix has been around manufacturing foot care products since 1885 so they certainly must know what they are doing!
These elastic forefoot sleeves which come with an integrated metatarsal gel pad and are available in different sizes truly stay in place without the flippity, floppity fold-over action potential of pads with nothing but a single toe loop as the sole retention mechanism. You can successfully wear socks as loose or tight as you like with these PediFix sleeves; it makes no difference. You can even choose to go barefoot wearing nothing but a forefoot sleeve, if you like.
I would recommend buying these where I did right here on Ebay at a cost of $12.99 per single sleeve with free shipping included. Two sizes are available. You can choose to purchase either a left or right sleeve or even both if you like; each is available in small (up to about a size 9) or large (larger and wider feet above a size 9). I bought a single left sleeve in large and it fits my foot just fine (My usual shoe size for men is 10.5 M).
Note that these sleeves are designed to be washed as needed and reused. If you decide to try this product and like it as I did, then purchasing a second sleeve for use while the other one is in the laundry will likely be a good idea in the future.
