Covers the basics thoroughly and clearly.
A great refresher for for those like me recently returned to B&W film photography and processing.
I reckon it would be great for a first timer too - Horenstein covers the basics well giving the why as well as the what to do.
He doesn't go far beyond the basics though so not much here for the already proficient.

Reliable, quality developer much cheaper than the 1 litre packs.
Well its a good all round B&W film developer that should last me a few months, its an awful lot cheaper than buying in 1 litres packs - I also bought a black 5 litre container to store it in for £6.
