Good monitor for the price. Buy a better Displayport Cable.

Acer Predator XB3 - XB273U Gsbmiiprzx This monitor is great, but I can see why it was returned. I had some trouble getting the monitor to work property with the screen blacking out for 2-3 seconds every few minutes with Variable Refresh Rate enabled when I used a Monoprice DisplayPort 1.2 cable. Then I tried the included DisplayPort cable which lost connection every ~10-20 seconds. Enabling AMD Enhanced Sync (alternate sync mode) on my RX 580 helped a little, but I was still losing the monitor connection every minute or so. I ordered a VESA certified DisplayPort 1.4 cable and the monitor now works fine with Variable Refresh Rate enabled. When setup right, the monitor looks good and functions well. Make sure you get a better cable to go with it.
