Simple and Works Perfectly
This is the non-wi-fi version. It works perfectly with my new Chevy Bolt. The car comes with a charge controller that makes it easy to program time of use charging to correspond with my Electric utility's off-peak hours. Because the car has this feature, there is no need to pay extra for wi-fi connectivity. It is a nicely made product, easy to mount and everything works well. I just plug it in when I need to charge and the pre-sets I selected in the car computer time the charging to correspond with off-peak utility rates.
I like the fact that it is in a nice compact. NEMA metal enclosure and also that it is built in the US. So far, I have had no issues with product quality or functionality.

Functional and well made.
Bought it to replace a very old Taylor unit of similar design that had broken. The Escali unit is nicely made, has clear meat temperature markings and is oven-safe, plus very affordable.
