Slightly bent, but great alternative!
Bought as an alternative to the traditional metal compass with the metal points, as I have a small child who is very interested in drawing circles.
When it arrived, it was slightly bent, and I've been working to bent it straight. It's not too much an issue, as I can press it down and use it properly. It works great to draw circles and as a straightedge. And the small child loves to use it so far to draw circles! Huge win win! In terms of happy child, happy me, and in terms of safety!
