2007 cobra FP graphite R irons
8 of 8 found this helpful I usually played Mizuno T-zoid Pro or Hogan apex plus (both forged) with regular steel shafts but bought the FP graphites after my heart bypass surgery seeking a bit more distance with less effort. They are fine clubs. Although The wider sole takes a bit of getting used, they definitely give you a bit more distance ,Play better from the rough, are accurate and deliver a high ball flight that will still stop the ball like a forged club. When hit on the center they feel just like forged and still feel good off center. Although you dont get as much feedback they are more forgiving on bad swings. They are a little harder off a tight lie due to the wider sole and a bit more bounce and as a result play a little easier off bermuda than bentgrass.Right now the 2007 models are pretty cheap and a good buy. I dont know why cobra made the sole shiny as it becomes scratched to a buff finish in only a few rounds and they should have just left if as a matte finish from the beginning .I think any hcp 10 or higher will like these clubs(I am a 12 index). I hope this helps your decision.
