3 of 4 found this helpful I lost my garage door opener and replaced it with this lift master. After programming the remote to my door I noticed my door opening randomly. Turns out my neighbors remotes also open my door now, this wasn't a problem before switching remotes. So now I have my garage door clamped shut until I get a remote that has a more refined signal. I even tried switching the code inside the remote and it didn't matter what code I used to program the door they all worked all the time.
