Nice but not quite as I expected.
Good quality and attractive but it's not quite what I expected. I thought it would be a typical pepper grinder that we normally see. Where you hold it above your food, crank the handle and the pepper would dispense from the bottom onto the food.
This is a bit different in that when you crank the handle the ground pepper collects in the small bowl which is slid on to the bottom of the grinder. Once you've ground the pepper and it's collected into the bowl attached to the bottom, then you slide the collection bowl off of the grinder and use the small spoon to sprinkle the pepper on the food.
Nice item...just a little different than I expected.
