High in the sky
The Multiwii controller is a very dynamic flight platform. The board itself is capable of hosting 6 ESC (Electronic Speed controller) for creating a hexacopter. I only use four. (Quad copter) Setting the boards up takes a bit of time but is well worth the end result. With this module combo and a couple of extras will give you a flight platform that Is great for aerial photography and racing. The main board can interface with Bluetooth to give local remote control, GPS (global positioning system) to know its location (this gps unit works up to 150,000 feet). once the gps is homed in on atleast three sattelites the main board will set the home position for the "Return to home" option, sonar to be able to hold distance from drone to ground. There is also an option for long distance control by getting the 400Mhz tranciever set. this unit will also work with a google maps app that lets you draw a line with your mouse on the map of an area. after you draw the lines then click on the line in different areas that you want to change the vehicles altitude. if you really want to bump it up to the high end the use an arduino 3g card and cell kit then you can send it on missions by texting the vehicle or change the destination "Mid Mission" Another capability that is possible with this combo is putting the GPS through an OSD (On Screen Display) board. add a camera and and 5GHz transmitter then you can see where the vehicle is going as well as the coordinates of where the vehicle is located. with the camera and osd your on screen display can be recorded on the ground and in the even of a crash, vehicle recovery is easier with visual cues and coordinates of where the vehicle came down. This is fun stuff people I recommend this product for anyone with with an imagination and loves to fly. :-)

Making the Right connection. :-)
The 'XT' Plug is a high amperage connector used to connect LiPo Batteries to the RC device that you drive or fly. This plug allows quick connections while ensuring proper polarity so that you several hundred dollar to does not release the magic blue smoke. If you have more that one battery voltage that you are using and believe me, there are several in this hobby, I would also use the XT60 connectors. they insure polarity and are incompatible with the XT this will make sure that your planes and cars do not suffer from over voltage.

A shot in the Dark!
1 of 1 found this helpful The Sony Cybershot DSC-H9 is an awesome camera for the beginner to intermediate photographer. One of the features is this camera has is called 'Night-Shot'. It allows the user to photograph in total darkness. The DSC-H9 is also equipped with a built in light meter for auto ISO adjustment. But don't worry, it can be disabled for those special shots that require longer exposures. This camera is a step up from its H7 brother (No light meter or Night shot). But like its brother has ability to be used with 72 mm and 56mm add on lenses this camera is great for family outings, camping trips and other events where you want to have above average pictures. Add a tripod and the use of the included remote control the user is enabled to be in the photograph. Pictures are easily printed at camera shops and Wal-mart just by taking in the Duostick card and requesting prints. If you desire you can burn those imagesfrom the Duo stick to a CD or DVD and keep them forever.
